SUNDAY SCARIES UK 2025 – LONG FORM TERMS & CONDITIONS

These terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) govern your entry into and participation in the promotion. Please read these terms carefully before entering, as by entering, you are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. 

In the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications related to the promotion, including advertising or promotional materials, these Terms and Conditions will take precedence. Please retain a copy of these Terms and Conditions for your information.

The Promoter takes data protection seriously. By entering this promotion, you confirm that you have read the Privacy Policy at https://www.mars.com/privacy and agree to any personal information you submit as part of this promotion being held and processed in accordance with this Privacy Policy, the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

ELIGIBILITY

  1. This promotion is open to residents of the UK and ROI, except for employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, associated agents or anyone else professionally connected with the promotion.

  2. Entrants must be aged 18 years or over at the date of entry. 

  3. No purchase necessary. Internet access and registration required. Mobile data charged at your networks standard rate.

  4. Bulk entries, entrants using multiple addresses, email addresses, numbers or entering via agents, third parties, organised groups, syndicates or aliases, or entries automatically generated by computer, will not be accepted. Entries received by any means other than as specified in these Terms and Conditions (see Condition 7 below) will be rejected. Any person persistently trying to circumvent the entry process will be disqualified immediately. No incomplete, corrupted entries or multiple entries from the same person beyond the daily limit will be accepted. The entry must be made directly by the person entering the promotion. Only genuine valid entries will be considered.

PROMOTIONAL PERIOD

  1. The promotion will run from 00:00:01 on 21.07.25 to midnight on 31.12.25 (the “Promotional Period”). Entries submitted outside of these promotional dates will not be included in the promotion. Entries must be received within these times to be valid. 

     

  2. A wrap-up draw will be held on 04.03.26 for entries received between 00:00:01 on 01.01.26 and midnight on 25.02.26 (the “Wrap-up Draw Period”).

HOW TO ENTER FOR YOUR CHANCE TO WIN 

  1. For the chance to win scan the QR code in store or visit yourchewyplace.com/en-gb, and complete the online entry registration form by entering your full name, email address and mobile number. 

  2. Only one entry per person per day is allowed.  

  3. Only valid entry information will be accepted, and the Promoter reserves the right to disqualify and reject any inappropriate entries. All entry information is subject to verification and interrogation.

  4. In the event of suspicious activity, the Promoter reserves the right to request and gather information or obtain further evidence to confirm the legitimacy of the entry / win.

THE PRIZES

Main Draw

  1. The prizes to be won are as follows:

  • 345 x £200/€200 Ticketmaster Vouchers (valid for 12 months from the date of activation)

The prizes will be distributed across 23 weekly draws. Each week, entrants have the chance to win:

  • 1 x VIP Gig Experience OR

  • 1 of 15 x £200/€200 Ticketmaster Vouchers (valid for 12 months from the date of activation)

Wrap-up Draw

  1. Wrap-up draw prize to be won are as follows:

PRIZE INFORMATION

  1. There are 368 prizes in total, as detailed, that are available to be won during the main draw. There is 1 prize in total, as detailed, that is available to be won in the wrap-up draw.  

  2. Prizes are strictly non-transferable and must not be sold, auctioned nor advertised for sale whether on the internet, in newspapers or elsewhere. Any person found in breach of this term will be disqualified and the prize withdrawn. No cash alternatives or other alternative prizes will be available in whole or in part, except in the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, whereby the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prizes with prizes of equal or greater value. The prizes will only be awarded directly to the winners.

  3. In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse, and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion or the awarding of a prize, the Promoter reserves the right to suspend the promotion or amend these Terms and Conditions, at any stage, with no liability to any entrants or third parties, but will always endeavor to minimize the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment. 

  4. VIP gig experience prize package for 2 people includes:

  • UK winners - return train travel from winner’s nearest mainland UK rail station to chosen UK destination.

  • NI/ROI winners – return train travel from winner’s nearest rail station in Ireland to chosen Irish destination. 

  • Return private station transfers in chosen destination.

  • 1 night’s hotel accommodation in chosen destination, with a four-star rating, based on sharing a double or twin room, including breakfast.

  • VIP hospitality tickets to concert or gig of winner’s choice in chosen destination, up to a maximum value of £250/€300 per person, including booking fees.

  • Three-course dinner and drinks at restaurant of winner’s choice, up to a maximum value of £80/€95 per person, including service charge.

For UK winners, train travel is available from rail stations in mainland UK only. For NI/ROI winners, train travel is available from rail stations in Ireland only. A valid credit or debit card will be required for security deposit purposes when checking into accommodation. Hotel accommodation is based on two people sharing one double or twin room. Accommodation options will be selected by Prize Provider at their sole discretion. Winners will pick their chosen concert/gig event, which must be available for booking through official primary sales channels or official ticketing agents. The Prize Provider will not purchase tickets through secondary resale sites. Prize is non-transferable and non-refundable, no cash alternative is available. All prize elements are subject to availability. The prize cannot be taken from 21st December – 2nd January (Christmas and New Year), over UK bank holidays or over Easter Sunday. The prize is valid for 12 months from the date of notification of winning, and travel must be booked and completed within that time frame. All elements of the prize must be taken at the same time, and once booked, the prize cannot be altered or amended. At least one traveller must be aged 18 or over, any travellers aged under 18 must have parental or guardian permission prior to travel. The prize excludes travel from winner’s home to rail station. The prize excludes food and drink (except where specified above), excursions, attractions, treatments, car hire, personal expenses and anything not expressly included in the prize.

  1. VIP Gig Experience winners will be notified within 7 days of the weekly period ending with a confirmation text message to the mobile number provided upon entry of the promotion, with details on how to arrange their prize. 

  2. Ticketmaster voucher winners will receive a text message within 7 days of the weekly period ending with a link to access their prize and instructions on how to redeem it. Vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of activation.

     

  3. Only one prize per person will be accepted. 

 

Wrap-up Draw

  1. The wrap-up draw will be held once the Wrap-up Draw Period closes on 25.02.26. The winner will be picked at random from all valid entries using an independently supervised process. The wrap-up draw winner will be notified by no later than 04.03.26 with a confirmation text message to the mobile number provided upon entry of the promotion, with details on how to arrange their prize.  

Prize Redemption:

  1. Winners of the VIP gig experience will receive an email from the Prize Provider (who have been contracted by the Promoter to administer this prize), within 14 working days of winner verification notification to arrange their prize. The Prize Provider will make reasonable efforts to contact the winners and then after successful contact, to receive the relevant information to allow fulfilment of the claim and arranging the prize. If a winner has not responded to notifications after 14 working days or if a selected winner is ineligible, otherwise in breach of these Terms and Conditions, or unable to take up the prize for any other reason, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize and to forfeit this origin win and to reallocate the prize from all remaining entries if possible. Winners should retain their notification text message until their win has been verified.

The Prize Provider is Element London Ltd. Any personal data submitted by the winner to the Prize Provider will be treated in accordance with Prize Provider’s privacy policy, which is accessible at https://element-london.com/element-london-privacy-policy-travel-english/ 

 

  1. The Promoter does not accept any responsibility in the event a winner does not receive their prize for whatever reason, including in the event that a winner provides an incorrect mobile number/email address.

  2.  Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter and its agents will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate entrants for any losses that may be incurred as a result of entering the promotion and the Promoter does not accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of a winner’s acceptance of a prize except where such damage or loss is caused by the negligence of the Promoter or its agents. The winners’ statutory rights are not affected.

  3.  No correspondence: Winner selection is final, and binding and no correspondence will be entered into, except with the prize winners.

DATA PRIVACY AND YOUR RIGHTS

  1. The Promoter takes data protection seriously. Personal data will be treated in confidence in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy at https://www.mars.com/privacy, the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018. 

  2. A list of winners’ surnames and counties of residence is available on request. Please post your request and a stamped addressed envelope to: Consumer Care, Mars Wrigley Confectionery UK Limited, 3D Dundee Road, Slough, Berkshire, SL1 4LG within 3 months of the promotion close date. Should a winner wish to exercise their right to object to their information being made available, or request that it be limited in scope, they should contact the Promoter by emailing contact@ukmw.mars.com. The Promoter may nevertheless disclose information to regulatory authorities if required by law to do so.

  1. In the event a winner requests for their personal data, including phone number and email address details, to be deleted or limited in scope, the Promoter cannot be held responsible if such request means that it is unable to complete delivery of the winner's prize or assist them. The full name and contact details of the winners will be retained for 30 days after the relevant prize has been fulfilled to allow the Promoter to deal with any queries from the winners, and always in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy. Winners’ surnames and county details will be retained for the purposes of administering this promotion and may be available to members of the public, subject to Condition 27. 

 

GENERAL INFORMATION

  1. Winners may be required, if they consent, to take part in reasonable publicity relating to this promotion without further remuneration.

     

  2. The Promoter is not responsible for any entries which fail to be registered or are delayed for any technical or other reason whatsoever.

 

  1. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the winning entries including by asking the winners’ identity (which they must provide within 14 days but which will not be retained following verification by the Promoter and redemption of the prize), including proof of age, and may refuse to award a prize or withdraw a prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the promotion and disqualify a  participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these Terms and Conditions (including entry requirements) or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means. 

 

  1. The Promoter may at its absolute discretion disqualify any participant found to be tampering with the application process or operation of the website or to be acting in any manner disruptive to the promotion.

 

  1. Sometimes, through reasons outside of the Promoters control, the website (as with any website) may not be accessible. The Promoter cannot guarantee continuous, uninterrupted access to the website. No responsibility will be accepted for any difficulties in entering, claiming or any entries/claims delayed or corrupted. The Promoter will have no liability for any loss arising out of such an event.

 

  1. Limitations of liability: Insofar as permitted by law, neither the Promoter nor the promotional parties assume any responsibility or liability for:

  • Any faulty, incorrect, errors or failed electronic data transmissions;

    • Communications line failure, regardless of cause, with regard to any equipment, systems, networks, lines, satellites, servers, computers or providers utilised in any aspect of this promotion;

    • Inaccessibility or unavailability of the internet or the website or any combination thereof; and

    • Insofar as permitted by law, any injury or damage to participants or to any other person (or their property) which may be related to or resulting from any attempt to participate in the promotion.

  1. If any clause of these Terms and Conditions is determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable, then it shall be deemed deleted from these Terms and Conditions. The remaining clauses shall be unaffected and remain in full force and effect.

 

  1. This promotion and these Terms and Conditions (and any disputes/claims arising out of or in connection with them) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with English law and the parties to any dispute or action shall submit to the jurisdiction of the English and Welsh courts. However, if you are resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may bring your claim before the Scottish or Northern Irish courts (respectively), if you wish.
